How to Win Against History

A hilarious musical comedy at the Bristol Old Vic, this video is intended to introduce viewers to Henry Cyril Paget, the subject of the play. The client wanted a visually arresting, handmade feel to the video, which had to reflect both the historic period of the subject and the flamboyant, tongue-in-cheek humour of the play.

A Terry Gilliam-style collage seemed the obvious option, trying to cram in visual jokes to reflect the witty, rapid-fire script.
