Shedinburgh Fringe Festival 2025 – Gags

For 2025, Shedinburgh Fringe Festival (which as a way to celebrate theatre during lockdown) returned as a purpose-built venue for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

One of Shedinburgh’s promotional films took the form of a mockumentary exploring the role of sheds in theatre throughout the ages. To accompany the talking heads that featured in the film, the client wanted some absurdist animated gags to emphasise jokes in the script.

Using a collage-style, I created a series of silly animations depicting famous theatrical sheds in Ancient Greece, Shakespearean London, the Swinging Sixties, Russia and a haunted allotment.
