Heartburn Health

Heartburn Health is a programme for people who suffer from heartburn. Its focus is on building a community, conducting research into heartburn (which can be an indicator of more significant health problems) and helping sufferers manage their symptoms.

Working with the brilliant Claire and Ellie at Queen Mary, University of London, we explored a range of options with a focus group of participants on the programme to see what approach would be most appealing and informative. The consensus was that a hand-drawn, animated style was the way to go, so I developed a range of cheerful characters and settings to help explain what the programme is, and encourage sufferers to sign up.
