Odyssey holiday experience animations

My friend Matt at What You Wanna Do was commissioned by Immersive Octopus to produce a trailer promoting a luxury experience based on the story of the Odyssey. Travelling in a luxury yacht, a small group would travel to various Greek locations where they would experience high-end immersive experiences.

As part of the trailer, they wanted some animated illustrations that would help bring the locales to life (the physical props and sets not having been created yet). The illustrations needed to evoke a feeling of myth and magic, but also show scenes that could feasibly match the actual experience the tourists would have on their voyage. Hence the Cyclops was to be represented by a cloud of drones rising into the sky - I imagined him as a figure you might see in an illustration of the constellations.
